Description

A delicious spinach artichoke dip served in a hollowed round sourdough bread loaf, perfect for dipping.


Ingredients

  • 1 round sourdough bread loaf
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 cup chopped artichoke hearts
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the center, reserving the removed bread for dipping.
  3. Tear the removed bread into cubes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  5. Stir in chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, garlic, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Spoon the mixture into the hollowed bread bowl.
  8. Place the filled bread bowl on a lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 20–25 minutes until hot and bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  10. Let rest for a few minutes before serving with bread cubes for dipping.
