- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup dragon sauce (sriracha, soy sauce, honey, or homemade chili sauce)
- 8 slider buns (soft slider buns or brioche buns, or whole wheat/gluten-free buns)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 1 cup fresh vegetables (lettuce, pickles, sliced jalapeños)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Start by cutting the chicken breasts into small bite-sized pieces. This will help them cook quickly and evenly.
- Marinate: In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with dragon sauce, ensuring they are well coated. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator to absorb all those amazing flavors.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Once hot, add the marinated chicken pieces. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly caramelized. You can also grill the chicken for a smoky flavor.
- Prepare the Spicy Mayo: In a small bowl, mix together mayo and your choice of hot sauce until you reach your desired spice level. Adjust to taste and set aside.
- Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half. Spread a generous amount of spicy mayo on the bottom half, then add a portion of the cooked chicken. Top with your choice of fresh vegetables and a drizzle of additional dragon sauce if you like it extra spicy.
- Top and Serve: Place the top half of the bun on each slider. Serve immediately while they’re warm and enjoy the delicious flavors!
