- Pinch nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream. Simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional nutmeg.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately over hot pasta or protein.
