- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup bell peppers, diced (red or green)
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes with juices
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
- Sauté onions and bell peppers until softened (about 5 minutes).
- Add minced garlic; cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned.
- Sprinkle in taco seasoning, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Add diced tomatoes; stir to combine and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute the ground beef with ground turkey for a leaner option.
