Marinated Grilled Chicken

Description

Delicious marinated grilled chicken breasts with fresh herbs and spices.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, dried oregano, honey, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight).
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F) or oven to 400°F (200°C) with parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Grill chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F). Alternatively, bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with tzatziki sauce and pita bread.
